The Nightcap Rainforest
The Nightcap Rainforest and Rocky Creek Dam are my favourite places to shoot. It also holds a special place in my heart. Despite having a near fatal push bike crash out in the hills of the Nightcap, I find great peace there; in nature.
I have been there countless times. This set is an amalgamation of my last 5 or so visits to the area.
The rainforest is located in the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia. It is particularly rare as it is a temperate rainforest. After colonisation and logging, there is now 1% of the forest left.
Also on the closed service road.
On part of a closed service road. Very few people visit this specific area. Far more pygmy kangaroos visit this road than humans. I saw many on my short work as well as hearing 100s of birds.
